Third week of June review

Hey, FitnanceIQ family so here’s a review of my third week. I must say the first two weeks were not difficult, and because I had combined some business expense on to my table I’ve been doing well so far!

This is how my week went:

  • Headed to football practice
  • Hung out at the beach
  • Outings with family and friends
  • Attended a play
  • Had a football game
  • Went to the gym
  • Went to volunteer
  • Had a meeting

Let me show the table.

Well hot diggity!!!

This week was a success!!! I manage to go over 19 cents (because I forgot my bagel in the toaster). So I managed to live within the $30-50 as spending money! So, by all means, this does not include my fixed cost!! I repeat this does not include my fixed cost. I am actually proud of being so discipline! However, I mentioned before that it hadn’t been so difficult the last two weeks because I was sometimes factoring in my business expenses. So I honestly can say the first three weeks was quite the easiest (I already know the last week of June is going to be challenging)

  • So this week I decided to purchase a weekly pass. I didn’t want to worry about having enough tokens for the week. But I realized that I did not need it cause once again I just went from point A (work) to point B (home). There were days I did go to another destination but was given a ride home so defeats the purpose. If I was to buy 10 tokens it would have cost me $30, but I am not complaining because I consider this a learning experience. I decided because work has a discounted rate for a monthly pass I would accept that and it’s worth it.
  • I attended this lovely play “Blood ticka dan Watah”( check out the website to get tickets at marciabrownproductions ) with a close friend, I was lucky enough for her to spot the ticket. So I did not have to worry about that cost this month. However we always have an agreement to spot each other so in the future, I will adjust my budget for that. It is always good to have a family member or friend that you can once in a while split expense. But make sure it is a reliable people that you are doing it with; it would suck to just give and never receive.
  • I basically managed to the same things the previous weeks with regards bringing food/lunch. However, there was one day I totally forgot my breakfast and went to Tim Horton’s. However, I found out that the cafeteria at work is quite affordable with breakfast. I actually can get bacon and eggs for less than $2. However I won’t get comfortable doing that, it adds up eventually. I know it is tricky making breakfast but trying something that’s easy to make. Or purchase coffee and oatmeal and use the facilities your workplace has.

This week was very simple, that’s why I was able to live within my means. I’m actually afraid to discuss the last week of June. Heads up, I totally went over my budget. However with every success, there is an appreciation, and with every failure, there is a lesson on how to make changes!!
